So we decided to bring him back, only this time to interview and honor editor Elisabet Ronaldsdóttir about her work on John Wick and Atomic Blonde among others. So welcome to Action Editing Chapter 2.
Plus Stump the Gurus and World Famous Raffle.
Agenda (subject to change and availability)
6:45- 7:15PM – Stump the Gurus
Join Gurus Patrick Southern, Michael Kammes and TBD as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning Resolve and FCPX, Avid, Premiere Pro and anything else you can think of. If they can’t solve your problem or answer your question, then you go home with a problem, but you still got out of the house, so that’s not a bad thing.
7:20PM – 7:45PM – Lumberjack Builder – Philip Hodgetts
Philip will be premiering Lumberjack Builder, a brand new, text-driven NLE, because existing NLEs are not good at working with transcription. Instead of creating scripts from transcripts in a text editor, with a painful manual conform required, Builder works directly with your clips to edit video and audio with the text. In both metadata creation and story building, while you work with text, you are building your story edit. Once complete, the story edit goes direct to FCP X for editors to work their magic on, with no conform required.
