‘Always Legal To Laugh’ at Hollywood’s Montalban Theatre

Always Legal To Laugh, on September 28 and 29, is a new comedy series taking place at Hollywood’s historic Montalbán Theatre. These live shows will include material from classic The Second City archives, original sketches about modern cannabis culture, and The Second City’s world-famous improvisation.

Some of the best members of the latest generation of famous The Second City alumni will be on hand. A co-production of Civilized and The Second City, Always Legal to Laugh will go from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. both nights.

The cast will include Frank Caeti (MadTV, Modern Family, Key and Peele), Edgar Blackmon (Popstar; Never Stop Never Stopping, Teachers, Other People), Jaime Moyer (Modern Family, Two Broke Girls, K.C. Undercover, Parks and Recreation), Holly Laurent (Close Quarters, Shrink, Drunk History, Key and Peele), Tawny Newsome (Bajillion Dollar Propertie$, Nobodies, The Comedy Get Down, Carmichael Show) and Eddie Mujica (Superior Donuts, Freestyle Wraps).
